Having difficultly locating where to buy this music? Since most stores in the U.S. don’t stock music from the genres we play it can be a real pain, but you can go our route: mail order. We use the online store Isolation Tank. Many labels, such as Metropolis Records, also offer CDs, and most artists have posted their libraries on their own sites, such as Bandcamp, or at the major digital outlets, such as iTunes, Amazon, etc.
Maus - Pick for January
Steril - Misanthrop
This new album by Steril first of all is the come-back of an ‘early’ 90s EBM band that got signed to Off Beat. “Misanthrop” marks their come back and I can already reveal this is a great, outstanding piece of EBM. This album has been released by the brand-new German label Frankahdafi Records, which is totally devoted to old-school EBM. Albums seem to be strictly limited to 242 (!) copies, which clearly indicate what this label stands for.

Biomekkanik - Violently Beautiful
‘Violently Beautiful’ is the second album by Swedish three-piece BIOMEKKANIK, a spirited jump through a variety of electronic musical hoops, but assured and full of purpose. There is much drivel produced in and around the so-called synth-pop genre, so it is hugely refreshing to hear some genuine talent and ambition based on experience, and a quiet confidence in the actual song-writing that lets everything breathe in a natural and organic way. It’s good stuff.

First stop … WE BREAK THE SILENCE (the album), probably it contains the best material of this amazing music project so far. Songs with power and emotion, sounds and melodies that milled into your brains, lyrics between hard reality and sadness. No doubt, you will become addicted to songs such as „Echo“, „Die Zeit“, „Foreign control“ or „Crown of thorns“ !
